As a Solutions Manager, you will have the opportunity to energize not only our customers at our Retail Stores but also your own sales team! In this role, you will fully support the delivery of the ultimate customer experience by working with your solutions sales team to manage customer wait times, resolve customer issues, and assist with customer transactions as needed. You will model excellent customer service by demonstrating and holding your team accountable for developing product expertise and providing the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy to all customers. You will also manage store merchandise and layout to align with store merchandising plans.
Solutions Managers must also effectively manage the performance of their teams. As such, you will be expected to assess and track your teams performance, which includes meeting and exceeding assigned quotas, and work with your team to implement development plans for any existing skill gaps. To ensure your team contributes to the growth of a loyal VZW customer base, you will provide ongoing development, training, and coaching that inspires and motivates your team.
Additionally, you will utilize a wide range of people and operational management skills to optimize the customer and employee experience and maintain the health of daily and long-term store functions, including analyzing store staffing needs, providing hiring and promotion decisions, reporting financial and sales status, managing cash and inventory levels, and ensuring that compliance, sales, and retention objectives are met. Ultimately, as a retail leader, your ability to build, motivate, and manage a strong sales team will help keep Verizon Wireless at the forefront of the technology solutions landscape.
Are you a good fit for the Solutions Manager role? A 2-year degree or at least 2 years of relevant management experience in a commissions-based sales environment is required for this position. This position also requires flexible schedule availability (including evenings and weekends).
A four-year degree, a proven track record of managing store performance, and a proven ability to lead a sales team and support a quality customer experience is strongly preferred .
