Responsibilities

 As a Verizon Wireless Experience Specialist, you'll use your excellent customer service and communication skills to create an engaging and memorable in-store experience for our customers.   You’ll welcome and introduce customers to the store, promote store exploration, direct foot traffic, engage in team selling and ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.  You’ll also be responsible for delivering workshops where you’ll teach and demonstrate product and accessory functionality to customers – which can help improve the way they live, work and play.

Responsibilities

  • Kick-start a unique and world-class experience for every customer entering the store, direct customer traffic and promote exploration
  • Inspire and excite customers about how our solutions can impact their lives
  • Create a welcoming, exciting and engaging store environment
  • Quickly and completely resolve customer issues, ensuring customer’s needs are met in a timely manner
  • Deliver the ultimate one-on-one and group learning experience to our customers as you demonstrate and educate them on our product functionality and our services
  • Become an “all-solutions” expert and point-of-contact for all product feature and functionality questions
  • Facilitate wireless workshops where you will work with groups of customers to demonstrate and educate them on a variety of technology solutions, including the latest and greatest smartphones, tablets and smart accessories
  • Contribute to the overall health and performance of your retail store by supporting daily business operations, including selling technology solutions, stocking inventory and processing customer transactions
  • Multitask while working wth customers and navigating VZW systems
  • Quickly build rapport with customers while demonstrating a friendly, engaging and positive demeanor
  • Maintain accountability for, and demonstrate 100% commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Train peers on product details
  • Participate in team-based selling by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to position value-added solutions to customers
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy during all customer interactions
  • Continuously update knowledge on a wide variety of products and services such as tablets, smartphones, and smart accessories
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Work retail hours set by the Store Manager in a store that is open 7 days a week
  • Remain focused and productive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment that offers very little downtime
  • Introduce customers to the store, direct customer traffic and promote store exploration
  • Ensure all interactive displays are operational

Qualifications

 Qualifications

Are you a good fit for the Experience Specialist role? A 2-year degree or at least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.  This position also requires flexible schedule availability (including evenings and weekends). A four-year degree is strongly preferred.
