Q1: What promotions are available to Verizon, AOL and Telogis employees and to eligible Verizon retirees via the Ultimate Employee Offer?

Q2: Who is eligible to receive the Ultimate Employee Offer?

Active Verizon employees and retirees and active AOL and Telogis employees are currently eligible to receive the Ultimate Employee Offer (UEO). Contractors are not eligible. Verizon may from time to time change, add or remove qualifying groups. Only one promotion is available and permitted per employee/retiree per account. In general, the Ultimate Employee Offer(s) cannot be combined with other promotions. In some instances a promotion available to the public may be made available to the UEO.

Q3: Can I enroll in the Ultimate Employee Program by phone?

No. The Ultimate Employee Program is only available via online registrations.

Q4: For how long is the promotion valid?

Verizon, AOL and Telogis employees will be able to keep the UEO promotion(s) on their account for as long as they are active employees of Verizon (or are eligible retirees of Verizon), AOL or Telogis and maintain the eligible service on their account or until the Ultimate Employee Offer is modified or discontinued by Verizon.

Q5: I am currently eligible for and have voice concession service. What are my options?

The voice packages included as part of the Ultimate Employee Offers are not eligible for concession service.

Q6: I am an active Verizon, AOL or Telogis employee. How do I get the offer?

The first step is to be in possession of an authentication token, which Verizon will email to you, based upon the instructions below.

As a Verizon, AOL or Telogis employee, once you submit the requested information, you'll receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com at your work email address with a special link to click on to sign up for the Ultimate Employee Program. The link is good for 30 days and you must enter the site through the link in the email. You should receive the email within 10 minutes after you submit your information. If you haven't received it, check your junk email folder.

AOL or Telogis employees should go www.verizon.com/connectionsprogram and input the requested fields; on that website please enter your AOL or Telogis work email address (and not your personal email). After submitting this information, Verizon will send you an email that will contain your authentication token and an ordering link for the Ultimate Employee Program options.

Verizon employees should access the Verizon Connections website at www.verizon.com/verizonconnections, select the option for the Ultimate Employee offer, and enter all the required information.
  • You'll enter your work email address, last name and your state of residence.
  • You'll also be asked to enter in your Employee ID:
    • Verizon Telecom employees should enter in their VZID
    • Verizon Wireless employees should enter in their Employee ID
    • Verizon Business employees should enter in their VZID or OneWorld ID

Once in the ordering portal, Verizon, AOL and Telogis employees should follow the below:

For existing customers: Enter your Verizon home phone number. If you do not have a Verizon phone number but have other Verizon services, check the box below the phone number entry.

  • If you are in a Fios eligible area, we'll show you the Fios Ultimate Employee Offer. If you are in a HSI eligible area, we'll show you the available Ultimate Employee Offers for HSI.
  • To proceed with viewing and adding the Fios Ultimate Employee Offer or qualifying HSI services, you will need your MyVerizon.com User ID and password to access your account. If you do not know your User ID and password, you'll need your current Verizon phone bill to register on the site. Please note: Online enrollment is the only option for the Ultimate Employee program.
  • If you forget your password, you will be routed outside the employee offer flow to create a new one. After completing this password reset, you will need to return to the Verizon Connections website by clicking on the link in the email you received to complete your enrollment. We suggest having your username and password before starting the Ultimate Employee Offer enrollment process.

For new customers:You will need to enter your address.

  • Select continue and you'll be directed to our order site.

You will be able to view your bundle options and order new services. Our click-to-chat reps are available on that site to assist with any questions you may have. The Ultimate Employee Program promotion will be shown on the selection page and will be detailed in your cart at the end of the order process.

Q7: I am an eligible Verizon Retiree. How do I get the promotion?

Go to your Benefits ResourcesTM at www.verizon.com/benefitsconnection and log in using the same login ID and password you use to manage your other Verizon retiree benefits. After logging into the site, use the navigation menu at the top of the page to go to Your Profile, then Personal Information and then click on the link to "Get Free Fios TV".

You'll enter your email address and your state of residence. Your last name will be filled in already.

After you submit the above information, you'll receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com at your email address with a special link to click on to sign up for the Ultimate Employee Program. The link is good for 30 days and you must enter the site through the link in the email. You should receive the email within 10 minutes after you submit your information. If you haven't received it, check your junk email folder.

When you receive your email, click the link to review your options and to sign up for the program online.

For existing customers: Enter your Verizon home phone number. If you do not have a Verizon phone number but have other Verizon services, check the box below the phone number entry. We will check your current services to see if you already have qualifying services or if you need to modify the services on your account.

  • If you are in a Fios eligible area, we'll show you the Fios Ultimate Employee offer bundle(s) available to receive the offer. If you are in a HSI eligible area, we'll show you the available Ultimate Employee Offers.
  • To proceed with viewing and adding the Fios Ultimate Employee offer bundle or qualifying HSI services you will need your MyVerizon.com User ID and password to access your account. Q8: Is the promotion only available to employees/retirees that subscribe to new services?

No. Whether you are a new or existing Verizon customer you can sign up for the promotion(s). Enrolling in the Ultimate Employee Offer promotion(s) may result in loss of other discounts or promotions that you are receiving.

Q9: After I register on the Verizon Connections site, how long will it take to get an email back to my email address?

Generally you should see the email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com within 10 minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk email folder.

Q10: I followed the link in the email I received and signed into my account to get the Offer, but I'm not seeing the special pricing displayed. What's wrong?

If you start the process with browser windows or tabs already open, the system may not log into your account properly when trying to add the offer. Close ALL open Web Browser windows and tabs then click on the link you were emailed and try again.

Q11: I'm an active Verizon employee but I don't have a corporate email address. Can I still get the Ultimate Employee Offer?

Yes, go to the Verizon Connections website at verizon.com/verizonconnections, select the option for the Ultimate Employee offer, and on the right-hand side, click on the "Verify your employment" link underneath the heading "Don't Have a Work Email Address?". Follow the process there, entering all required information and faxing or uploading the indicated proof of employment. Within two business days, you'll receive an email from Verizon_Notification@verizon.com at your personal email address with a special link to click on to sign up for the Ultimate Employee Program.

Q12: I have a Verizon Wireless bundle with the other three Fios services. Can I get the Ultimate Employee Bundle?

No, the Fios Ultimate Employee offer is not available in a bundle that includes Verizon Wireless service. You may choose to have your Verizon Wireless service removed from the bundle by calling Verizon at 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966). Once you make this change, you must wait until that order completes (24-48 hours), before returning to the Verizon Connections site to order your Fios Ultimate Employee bundle. You may maintain all of your services on your Verizon Telecom bill via the ONE-Bill option.

You should determine whether you will have greater savings maintaining your bundle with Wireless service or with your Ultimate Employee promotion(s). (For Fios customers, the Ultimate Employee program will typically be the best deal.)

Q13: Can the promotion be combined with other promotions or offers that I am currently receiving or that are available to the general public?

The Fios Ultimate Employee Offer, in general, cannot be combined with other promotions, although occasionally a promotion available to the public may be made available to the Ultimate Employee Offer. If you have any ongoing promotion associated with your Fios service (including pending Visa prepaid reward card offers, free premium content, etc.) they will be removed from your account.

The HSI Bundle and HSI Standalone (must have voice service) Ultimate Employee Offers can be combined with other applicable promotional offers available to the general public, but not other employee promotions. HSI Price Guarantee plans are not eligible for the Ultimate Employee promotion. If you currently are in an HSI Price Guarantee plan, you will first need to change to an eligible HSI standalone (must have voice service) plan or bundle in order to qualify for the Ultimate Employee promotion.

Q14: Where is the Ultimate Employee Program available?

The Ultimate Employee Offer is available to employees and retirees who can obtain Verizon voice HSI Internet services or Fios voice, Internet and TV services. Employees with residences that are not in a Verizon-served area are not eligible to receive promotions on Verizon Telecom services. Only one UEO account per employee/retiree is available

Q15: How will my promotion show up on my bill?

The monthly promotion(s) will appear in the Specials and Promotions section of your Verizon phone bill.

Q16: I'm currently in the middle of a contract term. Will I incur an Early Termination Fee (ETF) if I change my bundle to sign up for the Ultimate Employee Offer?

When you change to the Fios Ultimate Employee Bundle, any applicable ETF on your current Verizon services will be waived.

If you currently have DIRECTV and are in the middle of your DIRECTV service agreement, you may incur an ETF if you disconnect your DIRECTV service to sign up for Fios Ultimate Employee Offer.

Q17: I have DIRECTV, HSI and Voice, but I'm only getting the option of a $5 double play promotion. Why is that?

All services must be billed on your Verizon phone bill. Most likely, your DIRECTV is billed directly by DIRECTV and not Verizon. To add your DIRECTV service to your Verizon bill, call 1-800-Verizon (1-800-837-4966) and advise the Representative you'd like to enroll in a Triple Play bundle.

Q18: I just ordered service last week; can I still get the promotion?

Yes. After your service is activated, follow the directions for registering in Q6 or Q7 above, register on the site and if you have the qualifying components we'll add the promotion onto your account. However, if you do not have the qualifying components, you may be required to make a change to your service or bundle to qualify for the promotion.

Q19: Will I be credit screened for this offer? Who will be credit screened?

Yes, Employees are subject to the same credit approval policy as all customers.

  • New Applicants - no service with Verizon. Verizon uses External Credit Bureau information, as well as ensures there is no outstanding balance due for current or former Verizon services. You may be subject to a deposit. New applicants may be directed to contact the Credit Verification Center (CVC/Welcome Center) if the order cannot be completed online without further verification.
  • Existing Customers. Verizon will confirm there is no outstanding past-due balance for current or former Verizon services. You may be subject to a deposit and may be directed to contact the Change Order Review Team (CORT).

Q20: I have voice service with another company. Can I port-in my service to Verizon and keep my existing telephone number?

If you have existing Internet and/or TV with Verizon and want to port-in your telephone number, you will need to call 1-800-Verizon (1-800-837-4966) first to complete the port-in and subscribe to the qualifying Fios or HSI bundle. Then after your order completes (generally 24-48 hours after submission), follow the instructions in Q5 or Q6, as appropriate, to enroll in the Ultimate Employee Program.
