Just in time for holiday shopping, Verizon and six major retailers are making it more rewarding to give a digital gift card to friends and family. From November 25 through December 31, you’ll receive 1 GB of bonus data with any qualifying digital gift card purchase.
Here’s how it works: earn 1 GB of data by using the eGift tab on the Verizon Messages+ app to send a $50 electronic gift card to Sephora, Cabela’s, Chili’s, Bass Pro, Lowe’s or Macaroni Grill. You can send these to anyone (regardless of their wireless provider) in about five clicks using the Verizon Messages+ app. Limit 1GB of data per participating brand.
Verizon Messages+ eGift cards are convenient for last minute gifting and customers can pay with their Verizon account or credit card. A National Retail Federation survey says gift cards top the list of most requested items during the holiday season and digital gift cards are the fastest growing segment.
While the extra 1 GB of data is a limited time promotion, the Verizon Messages+ applets you send an eGift from more than 45 retailers to anyone (on any service provider) – right from your phone.
