Bell Atlantic Mobile Acquires Wireless Property in South Carolina

The acquisition represents an additional 187,500 POPs (potential customers)
and expands the company's service geography by more than 2,800 square-miles.
The RSA encompasses Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties, extending
Bell Atlantic Mobile's service territory to the state's southern shore.

strategy to increase our leadership position while growing our service
