When it comes to customer satisfaction, Verizon Business is a leader in its class, according to J.D. Power and Associates' 2009 Major Provider Business Telecommunications Study - Data ServicesSM. In the annual study, J.D. Power and Associates determined that Verizon Business is the top performer in overall satisfaction in the Large Enterprise segment, and sets the study benchmark in performance and reliability, customer service, cost of service, and offerings and promotions.

Leading the Pack
In the Large Enterprise segment Verizon Business scored highest in four of the six key performance factors used by J.D. Power and Associates to measure customer satisfaction: performance and reliability, customer service, cost of service, and offerings and promotions; and tied for the highest score in a fifth performance factor: sales representatives/account executives. Moreover, Verizon Business' overall score of 694 on a scale of 1,000 was 22 points higher than the average segment score.

Power and Associates' 2009 Major Provider Business Telecommunications Services Study - Data ServicesSM surveyed U.S. home-based, small to mid-sized and large-enterprise business customers to measure customer satisfaction with providers of telecommunications data services such as cable modem, DSL, T1, T3/DS3, IP-based networks for VPNs, Ethernet services, videoconferencing applications, Web site hosting and managed services. The surveys were conducted in January and April 2009.
