New Verizon Wireless Store Opens in Apple Valley

Verizon Wireless will celebrate the grand opening of its first company-owned communications store in Apple Valley this weekend. The 3,000-square-foot store, located just off of County Road 42 at 14949 Florence Trail (in front of Menard's), will add seven new jobs, bringing the number of Verizon Wireless retail store employees to 84 at 17 retail locations in the Twin Cities and Duluth.
Verizon Wireless' store grand opening July 12-15 will offer special customer incentives of 250 free minutes and 20 per cent off accessories purchased with all new activations. The store features the latest digital phones and accessories as well as local, regional and national calling plans with no roaming charges and free long distance.
Store hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday, noon - 5 p.m. The store's phone number is (952) 431-1993.
