Verizon Business' Remote IP Application Management service is now available in India, enabling India-headquartered customers and local subsidiaries of multinational companies to improve the performance of their online applications while reducing operational expenditure and downtime.
Verizon Remote IP Application Management enables businesses to outsource the management and monitoring of their business-critical applications and infrastructure, wherever they are located, to Verizon Business. The service combines deep technological expertise with robust operational processes and service automation to provide a comprehensive overview of application performance.
The Verizon Business team supports the day-to-day running of customers' business operations, providing a single point of accountability for the performance of the IP environment, and helping to maintain functional, responsive and secure processes, and mission-critical systems. The team combines consultancy and IP application-management services in a remote operations center environment to quickly identify -- and resolve -- any potential issues in the customer's distributed systems. An easy-to-use portal offers the customer a single, comprehensive, near real-time view of the customer's system and service information; importantly, the service is also tailored to suit each customer's business needs.
John Samuel, area vice president for Verizon Business India, said: "In the current economic climate, companies are constantly looking for ways to do more with less. With dispersed operational environments now part of daily business life, services such as ours enable organizations to ensure that their business-critical applications are operating as effectively as possible without the need for significant investment in internal resources. Instead, they can leverage our proven expertise in helping our customers to do business better, and rest assured that their IP applications are in safe hands."
Verizon Remote IP Application Management is part of Verizon Business' operations management service portfolio, which also includes infrastructure design, operations readiness assessment, systems instrumentation and monitoring, change management, problem management, capacity and performance management, data warehousing, backup/recovery management, security, business analytics, and operational reporting. The service is particularly suited for customers with a dynamic, transaction-oriented online presence, such as online retailers or financial service providers.
