Verizon Names Gale Given to Lead Company's Public Policy Effort in Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA - Verizon announced Tuesday (Oct. 14) that Gale Y. Given, currently regional president for Verizon's Great Lakes region, will become president of Verizon Pennsylvania, effective immediately. Given replaces William B. Petersen, who was recently named vice president and associate general counsel for state regulatory matters in the Northeast.
Carl E. Erhart, president of Verizon's Southwest region, will assume public policy responsibilities in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin in addition to his current duties in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Michelle A. Robinson, president of Verizon's Southeast region, will assume public policy responsibilities in Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee in addition to her current duties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
