Verizon SuperPages-Largest Directory Publisher-To Launch Comprehensive Directories for Greater Atlanta as Part of Nationwide Expansion

ATLANTA - Greater Atlanta was chosen as one of more than 20 markets Verizon Information Services, the largest publisher of both English- and Spanish- language telephone directories, has selected to introduce its yellow pages directories-branded Verizon SuperPages. The Greater Atlanta SuperPages will cover Fulton and Dekalb counties in one directory and more than 640,000 Verizon SuperPages will be delivered to area residents and businesses in September 2003.

In addition to Verizon SuperPages, shoppers and businesses already have access to the leading online directory and shopping resource, SuperPages.com as well as the only Spanish- language online directory SuperPages.com en Español.

"Verizon recognized a need for a comprehensive, competitive directory that reaches all of Greater Atlanta in one book," said Marlene Moore, general sales manager, Verizon SuperPages. "Due to the scope of the new directories, advertisers now have an extended reach-with value second to none in the marketplace."

The new SuperPages directory will include a Community Magazine, and a Dining Your Way! Restaurant Guide, spotlighting area restaurants. The restaurant guide includes an A-Z index, menus and maps. "Area residents and visitors love to eat out and the 'Dining Your Way!' guide is a very helpful, easy-to-use feature," said Moore.

Moore heads a staff of 50 sales and support personnel at a new sales office located at 1200 Ashwood Parkway in Atlanta. Before Moore's appointment as general sales manager for greater Atlanta, she served for seven years in a variety of management positions, including general sales manager headquartered in Rockville, Md., Norfolk, Va., and Richmond, Va.
