Verizon Wireless Opens New Retail Location In Kings Plaza Shopping Center

Growing Demand For Wireless Services Creates Need For Additional Locations

In response to the growing demand for the company's voice and data products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, has opened a new retail location in Brooklyn. The company's newest kiosk is located in the Kings Plaza Shopping Center, on the first floor, across from Macy's.

"Demand for our wireless services is growing, as more people take advantage of calling plans like SingleRateSM, our popular Mobile Web services and [FREEUP], a prepaid wireless service designed for young adults," said Tracy Watts, manager of the new kiosk.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The new kiosk is one of 20 new retail locations Verizon Wireless opened in the last 12 months in the New York Metro area to make shopping for wireless products and services easier and more convenient for customers. The new stores created more than 300 sales and customer service positions as well as business opportunities for local construction, architectural and real estate firms.
