Verizon Wireless Mobile Web Subscribers Can Personalize Timely Alerts for their Favorite Playoff Teams and Players

The alert service provides updated baseball playoff information directly to a user's digital wireless device.
Starting today, Verizon Wireless subscribers with digital service can sign up to automatically receive customized wireless alerts for the baseball playoff scores, statistics and information they are most interested in. To activate the service, subscribers log on to the Verizon Wireless Web site at www.MyVZW.com and follow the intuitive user interface to set up the baseball playoff alerts they want to receive.
