Available with Mobile MessengerSM short text messaging service, We've Got Scores sends up-to-the-minute sports information to customers for NBATM, WNBATM, NCAATM Basketball, NHLTM, Major League Baseball, NFLTM, NCAATM Football and Men's, Women's and World CupTM Soccer. Verizon Wireless digital phone customers can select to follow their favorite team from their first game of the season all the way through the playoffs. Whether at work, in class, out doing Saturday errands or shuttling the kids to their games, customers will have virtually 'live' status updates on their favorite team(s) when they sign up for We've Got Scores.
For hockey, baseball, football and soccer, We've Got Scores offers Verizon Wireless customers an Every Change in Score with Summary alert that sends updates to their handsets simultaneously with score changes in the game. To activate the alerts, customers with digital phones need simply to log on to the Verizon Wireless text-messaging companion Web site at www.vtext.com, become a registered user (at no charge) and follow the instructions to set up the alerts.
Verizon Wireless' Mobile Messenger is fast, fun and affordable. Customers can begin receiving alerts today for sports leagues now playing. World Cup Soccer sign-up will be available before the tournament begins on May 31, 2002. Customers need a messaging capable wireless phone and Verizon Wireless digital service to be able to send messages.
