Q&A about Verizon’s Three Months of Mobile Service offer for customers in nine Panhandle counties following Hurricane Michael

For our customers in Bay, Gulf, Calhoun, Franklin, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Wakulla, and Washington counties who will be automatically credited for three months of monthly access charges for each line of service following Hurricane Michael, we want to answer your questions about what to expect and when.

Who qualifies and what do I need to do to be sure I receive it?

This offer is for current Verizon customers in the nine counties listed above that were active as of October 17, 2018 –consumer postpaid and prepaid accounts, business accounts and public safety organizations are included. The credit will be automatically applied to your account – no action is required on your end to receive it. A list of the zip codes in all nine counties is available here.

What should I expect on my next three bills?

The first set of credits will be issued starting November 1. You will receive your first credit during the month of November – the exact date will depend on your billing cycle. The last day of credit issuance is January 31, after which you will return to your normal billing process.

Please note, you will need to pay your October bill – however, our unlimited talk, text and data offer - in place from October 10-31 - will be reflected. More information about that available here. Additionally, no late payment fees will be assessed through January 31.

What is included?

Monthly access charges, which are related to your voice, text and data services, including overages and related taxes and fees.

What isn’t?

These charges do not include equipment charges if you purchased equipment through our 0% financing option. They also don’t include legally mandatory charges such as E911 fees.
