I hope you’re all enjoying your Holiday Season, hosting Up To Speed and meeting so many of you in person has truly been a highlight in my career. Back when I was a newscaster I never imagined I would find another realm that would allow me to connect and continue to inform a group of people I cared about and I’m so grateful for the opportunity and for the V Team. I hope you enjoy watching some of my favorite moments of 2023, I’m looking forward to plenty more in 2024.

Hardest part about hosting?

• Save over $1,300 in 2023.

Favorite part about hosting?

• Working with Raquel on-camera and off-camera with our amazing producer Christine Henderson. I don’t think people talk enough about the impact your co-workers can have on your everyday life, not to mention your mental health and I’m so blessed to work so closely with two outstanding women. Our whole team is wonderful but I spend most of my days interacting with Raquel and Christine and it’s always a great time.

Luckiest moment to be in your position?

• I really love when V Teamers take the time out of their day to share that they loved something we talked about on an episode, it’s a really nice feeling to know you’re helping brighten someone's day or helping keep them informed. I’m Colombian so I tend to speak Spanish here and there and I’ve had plenty of latino V Teamers reach out saying they appreciate the representation and it’s a position I don’t take for granted.
