New ads highlight how 5G serves those who serve.

This weekend, two new Verizon ads will debut that focus on how 5G is impacting the work of first responders, EMTs, and firefighters. “The message is very clear,” said Diego Scotti, “if 5G Ultra Wideband can help them do amazing things and save lives, imagine what it can do when you have the power of 5G Ultra Wideband on your phones.” We’re also getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday with a special experience in Miami, FL, that will introduce customers to the power of 5G Ultra Wideband. On Sunday February 2, fans in the stadium will be able to access a 5G Ultra Wideband network for the first time with a commercially available 5G device.

Watch the Super Bowl in 4K with Fios TV or on the go with Yahoo Sports.

With the countdown to Super Bowl Sunday underway, Fios TV is giving customers better ways to watch the big game than ever before. Fios TV customers with a 4K TV will be able to stream the game in gorgeous 4K ultra high definition, but they’ll need to upgrade to a Fios TV One box first. If you haven’t upgraded yet, order your Fios TV One box right here to get it in time for the big game. Customers traveling on Super Bowl Sunday will be able to keep up with all the action live on the Yahoo Sports app. Download the app for iOS or for Android.

BUILD event today celebrates service and activism.

In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we're teaming up with BUILD to present a year-long series to spotlight the human networks, people and stories that move the world forward. Ahead of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, recognized as a ‘national day of service,’ our topic will be 'Inspiring Activism.’ The panel will include Human Resources leader Christy Pambianchi.

Join us for “Inspiring Activism” today Friday, January 17, at 2 PM ET.

And if you’re looking for other ways to volunteer this holiday weekend or beyond, be sure to go to verizon.com/volunteer for ideas on how we can all lend a hand within our own communities.
