Build event
Last Friday, we had our kickoff BUILD event in New York City. This was the first in a year-long series highlighting the human networks -- including the people and stories -- that move the world forward.
This month’s topic, inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., is 'Inspiring Activism.’ It featured HR leader Christy Pambianchi and a panel of women who are all working on the front lines of making and supporting positive change in the world: Karine Jean-Pierre, Chief Public Affairs Officer for MoveOn and an NBC and MSNBC Political Analyst; Cindy Trinh, a photographer, visual journalist and podcast host who is passionate about social justice and human rights; and mental health advocate Anastasia Kuznetsova, co-founder of "Made of Millions," a global advocacy nonprofit on a mission to change how the world perceives mental health.
The group had an amazing and spirited discussion.

Giving back and letting us know
If we create the networks that move the world forward, social activism represents the human network that powers our purpose.
So, now that we’re back from the long weekend, we want to know: Did you find an opportunity to give back over the holiday weekend? If so, we’d love to hear about it, so please share your acts of service on social using the hashtag #ForwardTogether and help inspire other V Teamers.
Finally, in the words of the immortal Dr. King, let’s remember: “The time is always right to do what’s right.”
So let’s get out there and make a difference.
