As we all gear up for the big game in New Orleans, Verizon is making sure everyone stays connected. And, we’re not talking about an upgrade; we’ve rebuilt the whole system from the ground up. Even better, with over 200 new small cells and hidden antennas, these changes aren’t just for game day, they’re here to stay.
So, what’s the game plan?
For starters, we’ve boosted coverage where fans gather most — Bourbon Street, the Convention Center, Louis Armstrong Airport, Smoothie King Arena, and all the hottest spots in town — with 560 miles of new fiber (enough to circle the Superdome 869 times!).
At Caesars Superdome, we’ve gone all in with:
- 509 5G Ultra Wideband and 155 C-Band radios covering every seat, suite and concourse.
- mmWave tech for fast, smooth connections inside and out.
- Real-time network adjustments with vRAN for peak performance when it matters most.
And when it comes to safety, Verizon isn’t playing. We’ve teamed up with local agencies to ensure first responders stay connected, with staffed command centers and tailored tech to handle any situation.
Take a tour.
But don’t take our word for it, watch the behind-the-scenes tour now and hear from the V Teamers making it all happen.
