A golden award

The most awarded brand for Wireless Network Quality
For the 31st consecutive time, the latest J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Wireless Network Quality Performance Study, Volume 2, named Verizon as the most awarded brand for Wireless Network Quality.
Verizon was also named #1 for Network Quality across all six regions in the country, beating every national and regional wireless carrier tested.
Verizon Summer internship program
Raquel and Jen reflected on the value their college internships provided them and how great it’s been to see so many enthusiastic Verizon interns throughout the summer months.
Chief Human Resources Officer Sam Hammock joined the conversation to share details on Verizon’s summer internship program and why interns are so valuable to our ability to serve customers.
Two of our interns, Noel Vincent and Juan Alberto Acosta, joined Raquel and Jen to discuss their internship experience thus far and their future goals.

Running to a crisis
Last night a restaurant in New York City lost service when a non Verizon construction crew accidentally cut a fiber line that provides critical service to businesses in the area.
One of those businesses happened to be the restaurant our CEO Hans Vestberg was having dinner at, Hans went outside to talk to the technicians on the ground, who were working tirelessly to splice the new fiber - strand by strand - until the broadband service was restored.
Shout out to our Manhattan based technicians, Jeffrey Alimosa, Ernest Guirand and Marian Polak. How awesome is that? No word on how much Hans enjoyed his meal but he gave our V Teamers 5 stars! Thank you V Team for always running to a crisis.
