Verizon brought mentalist and memory expert, Jim Karol, to entertain the troops and their families at Fort Hood, Texas, one of the largest military bases in the US. With his mind-bending tricks and mental abilities, Jim left the standing room only crowd in awe. His performance is part of the Verizon Salutes Military tour that will go to Lackland Air Force Base, Fort Bliss, and over 25 other stops this August.

Verizon Business leader Tami Erwin accepted the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Patriot’s Path Council for her civic service and commitment to her community. Current and former scouts were in attendance for the award ceremony, and Tami spoke to them about the importance of paying it forward.
