For our customers in Akron and Nashville, congratulations and welcome to the 5G family. You now have access to the fastest 5G in the world. And, just a reminder for all of us that by the end of 2020 Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband will be live in 60 cities. What a way to close out the year!

The iPhone mini will be available for V Teamers starting Saturday 11.21 on the employee phone program, joining the iPhone 12.

Call for Kindness

As we continue our “Call For Kindness” campaign, let’s keep supporting the 16,000 front-line V Teamers who keep our stores open and our communities connected. You heard CMO Diego Scotti talk about it yesterday on Up To Speed. There’s a smile behind that mask, so let’s all do our part and smile back as we make a call for kindness.

5G and Apple news for our business customers

We’re bringing 5G Ultra Wideband indoors to unlock the future of business for our enterprise customers. With this exciting news, we also launched our new 5G Fleet Swap program, which allows businesses to turn in their entire smartphone fleet and upgrade to any iPhone 12 models.

We’re excited to announce that two of our first 5G indoor corporate customers will be Honeywell and General Motors. They’ll be installing 5G in their corporate offices and in an innovative, all-electric, vehicle assembly plant.

5G comes to Lake Nona

We’re also bringing 5G to Lake Nona, a smart community in Florida, where our innovation hub will help test how 5G technology can enhance things like education, connected health care and autonomous mobility.

Verizon Retail Trends Report

Our seventh annual Verizon Retail Trends Report from the Verizon Business Group shows that retail shopping has moved online and is happening earlier in 2020 compared to years past. Mall traffic had been rising again from the low point during the peak of pandemic restrictions last spring and summer. Check out the full report for more data and insight.

Workplace wellness for our veterans

Check out Tami Erwin’s conversation with Medal of Honor Recipient and Staff Sergeant Ryan Pitts. They discussed leadership and wellness in the workplace. Our veterans put their lives on the line for us, so it’s important that we consider the mental health of our heroes as they return to civilian life.

Smart Streaming

This holiday season, our next-gen Stream TV finds the best on-demand content from top providers like Disney+, Netflix and Hulu and more. The Android-powered device lets you pick up where you left off in a show, or start fresh. Now that’s streaming smart.

Snap news

We’re teaming up with Snap Inc. to debut the first-ever 5G Landmarker Lens exclusively for Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband customers. The lens uses augmented reality to deliver an eye-popping musical performance from the Grammy-nominated band Black Pumas at the New York Public Library.

Bring your family together (sort of) for the holidays

Andy can’t have his mom clanging dishes in his new home in New Jersey this Thanksgiving, but he can still enjoy her presence in a fun way, thanks to a large cardboard cutout with his mom’s picture that the team sent over.

If you’d like to be eligible to win a cutout of yourself, a friend or family member, drop an email into the Good Mailbox at good@verizon.com.
