On today’s edition of Up To Speed Live, hosts Raquel Wilson and Jen Marin gave us a live news rundown, along with information about Mobile World Congress, Global Citizen and even a special V Team call-to-action.

Recap of Last Week

Raquel and Jen kicked things off with a recap of last week, from the launch of the iPhone 15, which host of George Talks Tech George Koroneos gave us the rundown on, to the opening of yet another Total by Verizon store in Inglewood, California, which Jen was on the ground covering alongside President of the Verizon Value Organization Angie Klein.

Don't forget, if you’re in the market for a new phone, new and existing Verizon customers adding a new line on the Unlimited Ultimate plan can get iPhone 15 Pro, on us, or up to $1,000 off any iPhone 15 model with any iPhone trade-in. We’re all part of the Test Force in some way. As the V Team, we’re always showing up to bring our best for our customers and V Teammates. Share how you’re doing just that by submitting a selfie with #WeAreTestForce and tag @InsideVerizon

Rally Cry

On Thursday’s episode, we asked V Teamers to help us come up with our next rally cry. We're looking for something to inspire us to continue showing up for our customers and motivate us to do more. Got an idea? Send us your ideas to good@verizon.com.

Global Citizen

On Saturday, the Global Citizen Festival returned to Central Park for its 11th year. Global Citizen is an action-based platform dedicated to ending inequities and extreme poverty so that everyone has an equal chance to thrive.

Verizon’s partnership with Global Citizen focuses on how we’re helping to deliver the promise of a digital world through Citizen Verizon by creating opportunities for students and adults to increase access to technology and improve their digital skills for the future.

This year, two students from our Verizon Innovative Learning Program, Angie Bravo and Naoki Aguirre from Hawkins Street School in Newark, New Jersey, joined our CEO Hans Vestberg on stage at the festival to talk about the impact and importance of bridging the digital divide.

To date, we have helped 3.5 million students in 592 middle and high schools expand their education through technology.

Mobile World Congress

Our work continues this week in Nevada, where starting today, Verizon is showcasing the latest in Enterprise Intelligence at Mobile World Congress Las Vegas. Verizon will be at Mobile World Congress throughout the week, represented by leaders from across the business covering an array of important topics, including AI and the metaverse.
