Verizon Business Extends Dedicated Internet Services to Malaysia

SINGAPORE - To help meet the global communications needs of Malaysia-headquartered companies and local subsidiaries of multinational companies, Verizon Business is now offering its Internet Dedicated Access and Internet Dedicated Ethernet services in Malaysia. The services enhance access options to Verizon Business' global IP network.

The new enhancements are available thanks to a new Malaysian Internet protocol (IP) node, jointly established with Telekom Malaysia (TM) to support the delivery of advanced data services in the country.

Verizon owns and operates one of the most expansive IP backbone networks in the world, and is a recognized leader in the delivery of global Internet protocol-based enterprise communications. TM is Malaysia's leading integrated information and communications group, with extensive global connectivity.

TM customers with multinational operations will gain seamless access to Verizon Business' expansive global network and solutions; Verizon Business customers with operations in the Malaysian market will likewise be able to benefit from TM's extensive local market expertise.

Verizon Business provides a range of Internet solutions to support customers with local or wide area network requirements, or that wish to create a Web presence to drive marketing or e-commerce opportunities. The company's solutions, supported by stringent service level agreements, deliver reliable service to meet customers' current business needs, and are designed to scale easily to meet future demand.

Customers in Malaysia can now choose dedicated Ethernet Internet access options with speeds ranging from E1 up through GigE. These offer high-performance, always-on, high-bandwidth dedicated Internet access with extensive bandwidth, configuration and billing options designed to suit specific business needs.
