NEW YORK – Fios customers with family and friends in India can stay up-to-date on the latest news in the aftermath of Cyclone Fani with free access to Zee News.

The India-based news network will be available on channel 1751 to all Fios TV subscribers for free from Tuesday, May 7 through Friday, July 5. The network has been covering the devastation and recovery efforts left by the deadly cyclone that swept across India and Bangladesh.

"We are very grateful to Verizon for being so sensitive to the needs of our community, particularly in these tumultuous and challenging times. Cyclone Fani has been a devastating natural calamity to hit the South East coast of India and we're grateful friends and family can stay closely tuned in to Verizon Fios for updates and information," said Sameer Targe, CEO Zee Network Americas.
