Verizon Global Wholesale is enabling its U.S.-based carrier customers to enter into new markets and grow new revenue streams through an expansion of its portfolio of advanced services.
Managed Security Services-Premises, now available for resale by U.S.-based carriers to their customers, leverages Verizon’s global network of security operations centers and proprietary managed security platform to collect, correlate and analyze millions of security events each day in order to provide users with actionable risk intelligence. The fully managed service helps organizations improve risk insights, enhance decision making and drive day-to-day security operations to enhance infrastructure and information security, and manage risk and compliance programs. Encompassing a broad portfolio of premises-based security hardware, the service supports capabilities, such as firewall, network and host intrusion detection and prevention, unified threat management and e-mail security gateway.
The second Verizon Global Wholesale service now available for resale in the U.S. – Private IP Wireless Access – leverages Verizon’s powerful IP and wireless networks to offer businesses and their employees secure primary or backup wireless access to corporate IP data networks, applications and data. Available on both the Verizon 4G LTE and 3G wireless networks, the service offers broadband access diversity for remote offices, field workers and telecommuters, business continuity and machine-to-machine connectivity.
