Managing Fleets of Mobile Devices from the Clouds or by Land

In this new video, Bill Versen, director of mobility solutions with Verizon Enterprise Solutions, discusses reasons that organizations choose cloud or premise-based platforms for managing and securing employee-owned or corporate-issued devices and why Verizon offers both flavors. At the core, it comes down to listening to our customers who still want the flexibility of both options as there is not a one-size fits all approach for the complex business of managing fleets of diverse mobile devices, applications and security requirements across multiple industries and geographies.

Some organizations remain comfortable with premise-based solutions whereas others are seeking the benefits of cloud-based platforms, namely scalability, low total cost of ownership and the ability to move to a ‘mobile first’ business model with integrated security and applications that are easy to access and consume.
