PHOENIX, ARIZONA — Ready to re-join a friend in the mall? Wondering if your colleague is stuck in traffic? Wishing you hadn't locked your keys in the car? Now, Las Vegas residents can call mobile-to-mobile and talk for free by signing up for Verizon Wireless' "Mobile-to-Mobile" promotion. Available on any Digital Plus 250 calling plan and above, the offer provides 1,000 free minutes for mobile-to-mobile calls between Verizon Wireless customers in the company's Greater Las Vegas local calling area.
Verizon Wireless' Greater Las Vegas local calling area includes all of Las Vegas city and service in significant portions of the populated desert territory, along Interstate 15 from Blue Diamond Road to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, along highway 96 from Green Valley to Summerlin and The Lakes, and along most of Highways 93, 215 and 515. Eligible customers must place a call to, or receive a call from, another Verizon Wireless customer in the same local calling area.
"For many of us, when we're on the go, our friends and business associates are too. Now there's a way to talk mobile-to-mobile with friends and family, and to conduct business with on-the-go colleagues, without using valuable airtime minutes," said Regional President Jerry Gallegos. "Mobile-to-mobile calling can save time and reduce the frustration of trying to meet a friend after shopping separately, searching for friends in a crowded parking lot after an event, or calling a business associate at a restaurant to let them know you're running late for lunch."
The promotion, which is available to customers for the duration of their new or existing service agreement, is easy and convenient - there is no need to provide lists of friends or family. Customers can activate the Mobile-to-Mobile service by calling 702-360-2000.
