New Release of FieldCentrix Enterprise Software Offers Satellite and Cell Phone Wireless Communications Support

Other Version 2.6 Highlights

Version 2.6 offers significantly improved system performance. For example, downloading and displaying 250 pieces of equipment now takes two seconds versus two minutes. Such equipment lists assist technicians in troubleshooting service problems.

Version 2.6 also offers enhanced equipment catalogs and provides a new function that automatically emails work order summaries to customers. Industry-specific catalogs are pre-loaded with hundreds of equipment makes and models, and standard service and preventive maintenance readings, tasks, and diagnostics for each piece of equipment. Using FieldCentrix's equipment catalogs, a field technician selects a piece of equipment, and a checklist showing the most common problems for that unit is automatically generated. This helps field technicians solve problems quicker, and allows companies to deliver a greater level of service to their customers.

The automatic emailing of work order summaries makes it fast and easy to provide customers with needed information. The field technician simply presses a button and the information is emailed to the appropriate customer contacts.

Safety First

Version 2.6 also provides an effective way to distribute important and timely safety bulletins. With the touch of a button, the latest precautions and hazards are sent electronically to all technicians. The software alerts them immediately to the information and prompts them for an electronic signature to verify that they received and read the information. The signature is automatically sent back and stored at the office. Ensuring technicians receive and read these bulletins keeps employees informed and safe.
