Verizon Wireless Expands Digital Network Along I-10 Between Phoenix and Quartzite
PHOENIX, AZ — In its continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for Arizona residents, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, today announced that it has expanded its digital network along Interstate 10. The expanded digital service now extends west from Phoenix to Quartzsite, Ariz.
"This digital expansion provides greater network coverage to customers who live and travel through the area. It also enhances the quality and clarity of wireless calls," said Greg Carek, executive director, network for Verizon Wireless.
The digital expansion is part of a $4 billion investment program to improve and extend the reach of the Verizon Wireless nationwide network. Earlier this year, Verizon Wireless completed network enhancements to launch digital service in Yuma.
