ROCHESTER, NY — Verizon Wireless announced the expansion of its digital service coverage in Wyoming County with the addition of a new cell site in Attica. The new site will provide improved wireless coverage in and around the village of Attica.
According to Gene Fassett, executive director of network for Verizon Wireless' Upstate New York Region, the site will provide the wireless carrier's Attica-area subscribers and travelers with improved wireless coverage and enhanced call quality when making cellular calls across the region.
The new site is part of the $4 billion investment program this year to improve and extend the reach of the Verizon Wireless nationwide network. More than $100 million of that investment is being used to stay ahead of the growing demand for Verizon Wireless products and services in the Upstate New York region.
