BELLEVUE, WA — In response to growing demand for Verizon Wireless' communications products and services, the nation's largest wireless provider has opened its newest retail store in Woodinville. Located at 17742 Garden Way, Bldg. 14-B, the store has created seven new jobs. The company now owns and operates 28 Verizon Wireless Communications stores and kiosks throughout Washington, which employ 167 people.
As part of the Grand Opening celebration, the first 100 customers who sign up for new service from October 19 through 21 will receive a $35 service credit after activation. Radio stations KMTT, KUBE and KIRO-AM will broadcast live from the store during the celebration, giving away prizes, movie passes, and footballs signed by Seattle Seahawk Shawn Springs, who will sign autographs on Sunday, October 21 between noon and 2 p.m.
"Wireless communications products and services are becoming more affordable everyday especially with our current offering," said Wendi Wales, manager for the Woodinville store. "With an annual agreement, customers can take advantage of Verizon Wireless' 3,000 free nights and weekend home airtime minutes per month for life on local, regional, national or Family SharePlans. These annual plans have a monthly access fee of $35 or higher. As long as a customer chooses an eligible rate plan and stays on that plan, they will always have 3,000 (nights and weekend) home airtime minutes. The Family SharePlans currently have a companion equipment offer - buy one Nokia 5185i for $29.99 and get up to 3 additional phone free, one for each line activated."
Verizon Wireless retail stores offer a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including Mobile Web, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile Office.
The new retail location is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
