Verizon Wireless Names Richard Veyera National Accounts Manager

WOBURN, MA – Verizon Wireless has named Richard Veyera national accounts manager.  In his new position, Veyera will be responsible for managing the Textron, Inc. account. Textron, Inc., a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island chose Verizon Wireless as their only national wireless provider.  In addition to voice service for thousands of their employees, Textron, Inc. executives are testing a wireless data service that allows them to send and receive data over the Verizon Wireless Express NetworkSM. For those who spend more time on the road than at their desk, access to e-mail, client files and corporate data is critical to maintaining productivity; Express Network gives mobile professionals a tremendous advantage by making their time out of the office seamless to customers and colleagues.

A Verizon Wireless employee for 11 years, Veyera most recently served as a Major Accounts Manager.  His sales career with the company has spanned a variety of positions, including regional director of sales, sales manager, program manager, market manager, and account executive.
