LOUISVILLE, KY — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, has activated three new Kentucky cell sites, expanding digital network coverage for its customers.
A new cell site in Kelat improves service along U.S. Highway 27 between Cynthiana and Falmouth. Two other sites in Owen and Franklin counties solidify network coverage along U.S. Highway 127 between Owenton and Frankfort.
"Verizon Wireless is committed to providing our customers with the best network," said Greg Haller, president Kentucky/Indiana/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless. "That's why, across the state in 2003, we added nine new cell sites and increased the capacity of 68 existing sites. In 2004, our network remains our top priority."
