DETROIT, MI — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, today announced the activation of three new cell sites in southeastern Michigan, resulting in clearer reception and fewer dropped calls for the company's customers.
The new cell sites have been activated in the following locations:
- Ann Arbor improved coverage for Ann Arbor residents and commuters along Fuller and Geddes Roads, and US 23 between Plymouth Road and Interstate-94; for visitors of the Veteran's Affairs Ann Arbor Healthcare System
- Downtown Detroit increased coverage along the Detroit River waterfront and East Jefferson, including the Renaissance Center
- Dearborn added capacity and coverage along Interstate-94 between Southfield and Schaefer roads
