Verizon Wireless' Hippest Customers Can Personalize Their Phones with New Modtones Gallery

BEDMINSTER, NJ and SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, and Faith West, a leading mobile content provider, announced today the availability of Modtones Gallery on Verizon Wireless' Get It Now service. Modtones Gallery provides Verizon Wireless' Get It Now customers with a mobile art gallery of images for download from such brands as Rocawear, French Kitty, Yum Pop and Emily the Strange. Faith West's image license with Viacom Consumer Products offers mobile wallpaper from classic pop culture favorites like Beverly Hills 90210, Clueless, Roman Holiday, Saturday Night Fever, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Grease. These entertainment graphics are complemented by new favorites such as images from the recently released Alien vs. Predator from Twentieth Century Fox. Additionally, Modtones Gallery offers a vast array of graffiti scenes, tattoo art and other classic iconography from its team of in-house artists.

"We are always looking for new opportunities to increase our visibility among consumers and with the popularity of the wireless entertainment market, Modtones Gallery was the perfect fit to reach pop and urban fans," said Damon Dash, founder and CEO of Rocawear.

"Faith West is plugged into today's pop and urban cultures — they bring a talent to discern the brands and music for a wide range of customers interested in what's new and hip," said Paul Palmieri, executive director of business development for Verizon Wireless.
