Verizon Wireless Names Michael Darby Manager For Shreveport, Louisiana Communications Store

SHREVEPORT, LA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless provider, has named Michael Darby manager for its Shreveport Communications Store, located at 7230 Youree Drive. Darby will be responsible for customer service, sales merchandising, managing and training store team members and implementing marketing initiatives for Verizon Wireless and its products.

"Michael and his team are off and running with a great start at our first full-service store in Shreveport," said Bill McKinney, director of Retail Stores for Verizon Wireless. "We are excited to have him as part of our team and expect to see this new store grow rapidly under his leadership."

Darby will also be responsible for managing the new Verizon Wireless Communications Store located inside Circuit City, located at 8100 Jump Run Road in Shreveport.

Darby previously served as regional manager for Interstate Connections, where he was responsible for eight wireless retailers across several states. Darby has more than 10 years of sales experience and has been recognized as a top-ranked sales manager multiple times.
