Three Evansville, Indiana, Area Residents Named To Verizon Wireless' National President's Cabinet

EVANSVILLE, IN — Verizon Wireless has named Julie Freeman, Michael Halbig and Brian Young to the company's prestigious President's Cabinet.

Though it is rare for one market to name three President's Cabinet winners in any given year, all three employees were given the designation for ranking in the top two percent nationally in sales during 2004, placing them within the company's top performers among its more than 15,000 sales executives. Freeman, Halbig and Young each demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in providing Evansville area customers with outstanding service on company products and plans, such as the NationalAccess high-speed wireless data network, and TXT and Picture Messaging services.

Freeman, a resident of Newburgh, is a retail sales district manager with responsibility for Evansville and Terre Haute and Paducah, Kentucky. She has been with Verizon Wireless for 13 years.

Halbig is an account executive in the company's business sales channel. He lives in Evansville and has been with the company for five years.

Young, a senior retail sales representative at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store located at 2001 N. Green River Road, has received this honor three times in the past seven years. He lives in Evansville and has been with the company since 1997.

"At Verizon Wireless, we encourage our employees to focus on their potential rather than on what is expected of them," said Greg Haller, president—Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless. "Julie, Michael and Brian exemplify what it means to reach for that potential. They are all highly valued by us and their customers."
