Verizon Wireless Awards HopeLine Grant to Stop Domestic Violence Program in Plattsburgh, New York
PLATTSBURGH, NY — Verizon Wireless will present the STOP Domestic Violence Program in Plattsburgh with a $1,250 grant from the company's HopeLine® Foundation. The grant will be used to send STOP staff to national and statewide training and conferences, specific to issues of domestic violence. The grant is one of 13 grants totaling $35,000 that are being awarded across Upstate New York to help organizations involved in domestic violence prevention and education introduce new programs, expand existing ones or add facilities to better serve clients.
