BENTON, KY — The activation of a new Verizon Wireless cell site in Benton means more customers can use their wireless phones to make calls, send and receive e-mail and TXT, Picture and Video Messages, and download games and ring tones while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
The new cell site improves coverage in Benton; on the Purchase Parkway in western Marshall County; along U.S. Route 641 between Dexter and Benton; and along State Road 348 between Symsonia and Benton.

The new Benton cell site is part of Verizon Wireless' continuous effort to increase coverage and augment the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Kentucky and across the country.
