Take A Bite Out Of Crime — Verizon Wireless Store In Keizer, Oregon Hosts Child Safety Day
KEIZER, OR — WHO:
Matt Hilverda, store manager, Christopher Ray, assistant store manager, McGruff the Crime Dog, and representatives of the Keizer Police and Fire Departments.
WHAT:
The Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Keizer, OR will host McGruff the Crime Dog and local police and fire representatives. The Keizer Police and Fire Departments will fingerprint children and bicycle police will register bikes as an anti-theft measure.
Verizon Wireless experts will demonstrate the MIGO phone, a child-friendly device featuring large buttons that parents can program to speed-dial four important numbers, plus an emergency key. They will also demonstrate ChaperoneSM service a way for parents to monitor the location of their child's phone through their own handset or online.
