Verizon Wireless Seeks To Expand Local Workforce At Manhattan, New York Job Fair

ORANGEBURG, NY — Verizon Wireless, America's leading wireless provider, is seeking highly-qualified applicants to fill customer-facing positions now available in the company's business sales, telesales and Communications Store teams throughout the New York Metro area. Locally, the company hired more than 1,600 employees last year to keep pace with the growing demand for its wireless voice and data products and services.

The Manhattan job fair will take place at Madison Square Garden on Friday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located on Seventh Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, the entrance for the job fair is on 7th Avenue and 32nd Street.

Among the new full- and part-time employees being sought are English-Spanish speaking candidates to meet the needs of the New York Metro area's growing Hispanic population.
