Verizon Wireless Debuts NASCAR Busch Series Team At Atlanta Motor Speedway

ATLANTA, GA — Verizon Wireless announced today they have teamed up with Motorola, Inc. to sponsor Robby Gordon Motorsports in the NASCAR Busch Series. The first-time Busch Series sponsorship for both companies will debut at the Nicorette 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 17. Motorola will also sponsor the #7 car for the Kobalt Tools 500 Sunday, March 18, 2007.

Besides its debut in Atlanta, the car also will compete at the Carquest Auto Parts 300 in Charlotte, N.C. on May 26; at the USG Durock 300 in Chicago on July 14; at the Dollar General 300 in Charlotte, N.C. on October 13; and at the O'Reilly Challenge in Texas on November 3.

In addition, the Motorola and Verizon Wireless logos will appear on the cars, drivers' suits and team member clothing during selected races in the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series racing season.

The sponsorship allows Verizon Wireless to provide customers with Busch Series-themed events and offers such as giveaways and contests for race tickets and other popular NASCAR merchandise.
