Verizon Wireless Expands Network in Western San Mateo County, California

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Wireless users along the San Mateo County coast are now experiencing increased coverage in Montara and Pescadero, thanks to two new Verizon Wireless cell sites that also benefit travelers along Highway 1.

The new Montara cell site improves network coverage and capacity within the communities of Montara and Moss Beach, including the Half Moon Bay Airport.

In Pescadero, the new cell site improves coverage and capacity within the town of Pescadero, near Highway 1 and Pescadero Creek Road.

Both sites also provide users with access to high-speed data services for Internet access and the most comprehensive mobile music service available-V CAST Music.
