Raleigh, North Carolina, Resident George Gensemer Wins National President's Cabinet Award
RALEIGH, NC — George Gensemer, a Raleigh resident and retail sales representative for Verizon Wireless, has been named to the company's President's Cabinet for ranking in the top one percent nationally in sales for the nation's most reliable wireless network.
Gensemer was one of just six people in North Carolina to earn the distinction for performance within the sales organization team, among the 8,509 retail sales representatives at Verizon Wireless nationwide. In 2007, there were 207 winners out of more than 15,000 sales employees.

"George is truly an asset to our company, our communities and especially to his colleagues right here in Raleigh," said Jerry Fountain, Carolinas/Tennessee region president for Verizon Wireless. "At Verizon Wireless, we encourage our employees to focus on matching our products and services with customers needs. George exemplifies what it means to put customers first and is highly valued by his customers and us."
Gensemer also won the Winners Circle Award in 2007 for the sales team that achieves over 110 percent quota.
