Bronx Chamber Donates Phones To Verizon Wireless HopeLine To Fight Domestic Violence In New York
BRONX, NY — In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, representatives of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce gathered at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store on Fordham Road in the Bronx this week to donate more than 400 no-longer-used wireless phones to the company’s HopeLine® phone recycling program which benefits domestic violence survivors. The phones were collected at Chamber events including members and friends who attended the chamber’s Women of Distinction Luncheon earlier this year.
