Customers looking for more than just traditional news, including gossip, gadgets, sports and fan sites, can purchase NewsRoom for just $4.99. Tech-savvy customers interested in the latest smartphone news, reviews and hands-on looks at laptops, HDTVs, gaming and more can get the free Engadget app, the final word for news on gadgets and technology.
  • Top Stocks Lite delivers customers free real-time stock market information with prices, line charts, news stories and summaries on each company and index in the United States and abroad.
  • Expense Tracker can help customers track their balances on a day-to-day basis. For $1.99, Expense Tracker uses a powerful algorithm for the creation of recurring expenses and makes it easy to detect abnormalities so customers can start saving.

  • For $1, 3D Plotter allows students to plot graphs of two-dimensional functions in 3-D by entering the formula and the range they want to plot with the option to change the color scheme.
  • Taking foreign language classes never seemed easier thanks to the free Translator app. Customers can translate 45 languages super fast with the tap of a button using Google translation services. After the translation is complete, customers can send it directly to contacts via e-mail or message.
  • Whether studying to be a physicist in college or just trying to get through tenth grade chemistry class, Periodic Table is the premier reference for the Periodic Table of Elements, available in either Standard or Landscape mode for $1.99. By using simple gestures to navigate the table, customers can click on any element to see detailed information. Extra features include the ability to change the display of the table based on criteria such as melting points, density and valence.

Moms are one of a kind. Now mom can be even more of a superstar than she already is.

  • Shopping List is the premier program for moms to easily create and customize shopping lists. For $1.99, customers can create template lists for meals or items they frequently buy to simplify creating shopping lists. Lists have the option to include a name, enable prices, specify sales tax, and assign priority. Items have the option to include a name, price, quantity, aisle, multiple coupons, sales tax, and notes. Preloaded with a default store that has more than 600 items, customers can get started right away and can send lists via e-mail and SMS so that special loved one won’t forget the milk.
  • With The Weather Channel, moms will know if they should grab an extra umbrella for the soccer game. This free GPS-enabled app gives customers instant access to accurate and local weather details, including interactive radar and satellite maps, current conditions, and hourly forecasts.

Palm Pre Plus is available for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, and Palm Pixi Plus will cost $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, each with a new two-year customer agreement.
