Five Local High Schools In Ohio Have A Shot At $10,000 In Verizon Wireless TXT2Win Contest
YOUNGSTOWN, OH — Five area high schools including Warren Harding, McKinley, Howland, Austintown Fitch and Boardman have a chance to win $10,000 from Verizon Wireless if local fans can cheer loudest … with their fingers.
Through the Verizon Wireless High School TXT2Win contest, students, parents and fans of these high schools simply need to send a text message to 66861 with the school’s corresponding special contest code:
- WHHS: Warren Harding High School
- MCKHS: McKinley High School
- HOW: Howland High School
- AUSTIN: Austintown Fitch High School
- BOARD: Boardman High School
Participants can also visit www.vzwrules.com/highschool to vote online and increase the school’s odds of winning.
Warren Harding, McKinley, Howland High, Austintown Fitch and Boardman will be competing against 19 other high schools from Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The school with the most votes by November 4 wins the $10,000 prize, but all participating schools will receive a $1,000 donation at an upcoming sporting event. Verizon Wireless is giving away a total of three $10,000 cash prizes to high schools throughout the Midwest.
