BASKING RIDGE, N.J., and NEW YORK — This winter, Verizon Wireless offers hockey fans across the country multiple ways to rule the rink with the NHL GameCenter LIVE™ app — an all-access pass to National Hockey League (NHL®) games, players, scores, stats and video highlights. Verizon Wireless and the NHL are bringing in-depth coverage of the 2011 NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 30, through the NHL GameCenter LIVE app, now available on all Android devices and many BlackBerry® smartphones. Whether at the game or at home, fans don't need to worry about missing out on any of the action on the ice.

The NHL GameCenter LIVE app is available only on Verizon Wireless. Avid hockey fanatics can get the premium version of the NHL GameCenter LIVE app, available for a $39.99 one-time fee, to get the ultimate NHL experience with up to 40 out-of-market games per week live on their Verizon Wireless devices (blackout and other restrictions may apply). A free version of the app gives customers live scores, in-game stats, NHL Twitter feed, full season schedule, NHL's new mobile website, standings and bios of all active players, among many other features. For a $9.99 one-time purchase fee, customers get access to condensed games, live game radio and video highlights.
