SPOKANE, WA — Verizon Wireless announced today that the world’s first large-scale 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network has expanded its award-inning, blazing fast wireless service in the Spokane market to include the following communities;

Verizon’s 4G LTE network is now available in 190 U.S. markets, covering more than 200 million Americans. Residents in more than 20 Eastern Washington and North Idaho communities with 4G LTE smartphones, laptop modems and hotspots can now join residents in Spokane County to take advantage of speeds up to 10 times faster than the company’s 3G network. The expansion also delivers blazing fast 4G LTE to the Schweitzer Mountain and Silver Mountain ski resorts near Sandpoint and Kellogg, Idaho.

In Spokane County, the Verizon 4G LTE network is also available in the commercial and residential areas of the city, as well as Airway Heights, Liberty Lake, Mead, Otis Orchards, Spokane Valley and the South Hill.
