Verizon Wireless Brings Its 4G LTE Network To Goldsboro And Kinston, North Carolina, On July 19

GOLDSBORO, NC — Verizon Wireless announced it will bring the nation’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Goldsboro and Kinston, N.C. on Thursday, July 19. The availability of a 4G LTE wireless network in Goldsboro and Kinston is part of the company’s aggressive expansion of its improved network across the United States. With the lightning fast 4G LTE service, which delivers speeds 10 times faster than 3G, customers can look forward to the best experience in wireless data usage, whether it’s surfing the Web, streaming music and video, downloading files or staying in touch with family and friends.

With the new and expanded markets, the company’s 4G LTE network will be available in 337 markets, to more than two-thirds of the U.S. population. Verizon’s 4G LTE averages data rates of 5-12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2-5 Mbps on the uplink in real-world, loaded network environments.

Customers in Goldsboro and Kinston will also be able to access Verizon’s recently introduced HomeFusion™ Broadband, an Internet solution that leverages the power and speed of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network to deliver more in-home Internet options.
